A very special experience — Komosse in sunset and moonlight

During the winter we do moonlight tours outside on the bog for about 3 hours, a walk of about 5 km and break around the fire. If it is snow, we ski, it is bare ground, we hike out on the bog at sunset. We rest on Björnön and light a bonfire and cuddle around the fire, make coffee and bake something to eat. Gradually, we see the stars light up one by one. After that, we ride or hike across the bog in the moonlight back to the cars.

We ride at walking pace, so no fast climbing which means you should not be in training clothes. It is better that you put on windproof clothing both pants and jacket. Dress in several thin layers than a few thicker ones it will be easier to take off and depending if you get too hot or cold. Wear woolen socks to keep your feet warm. Bring a warm sweater or jacket to put on when we break.
